I am working on chapter 8 and the dovetails.  I have completed the pins and tails and am trying to get rid of the final little sliver on the bottom but when I try to select for push/pull the whole front gets selected and not just the sliver.  I zoom in real close with no change.  Deselected/Reselected the component, edit component and still cant get rid of it.  Any suggestions?

Greg, it sounds to me as if you haven't divided the surface into two separate faces. You should have a face for the "sliver" and another for the rest. Check to see that the lines defining that little bit actually intersect the edges of the face. It may be that a line is close but doesn't quite reach the edge.

We need to talk Google into adding tools to the palette - chisel, saw, mallet, etc.  ;-)
