Hi Roc,
Thank's for those kind words Sir.
My company:Thomas Chippendale Furniture Ltd, was creating a set, of six? 4 Dining. 2 Carvers, 2005 to: 23/1/2007.
But sadly its studio was destroyed by an Arson Fire. I claim this: Because a: Private Fire Invesigater, uncovered 23 outbreakes of fire, although the fire started on the ground floor, the entire floor above was unburnt? but Strangely? The entire roof was consumed by Fire, in this Desaster.
The one I show today, Is created from the better part's left after this Deaster, From the six I was creating, Note: although Thomas Chippendale?states in the 1754, Director. Preface.he had made several sets? Big fabrication. Note:The fact: Thomas Afflick 1740-1779(c.) Created a ladder-back chair? on landing in America, 1756(c.) and named it : A Thomas Chippendale, Ribban-back Chair.(proves my point)
A living descendent from Otley, Yorkshire, England, accredited this Chair! The first carved after Thomas Chippendale, Died. Note: Thomas Chippendale (1718-1779)
