Be Fair to America
Be Fair to America (post #154092)
I'm a legal American citizen and I must show my ID when:
1. Pulled over by the police.
2. Making purchases on my credit card.
3. When I show up for a doctor's appointment.
4. When filling out a credit card or loan application.
5. When applying for or renewing a driver's license or passport.
6. When applying for any kind of insurance.
7. When filling out college applications.
8. When donating blood.
9. When obtaining certain prescription drugs.
10. When making some debit purchases, especially if I'm out of state.
11. When collecting a boarding pass for airline or train travel.
12. When cashing a check at a bank or retail store.
I'm sure there are more instances, but the point is that we citizens
of the USA are required to prove who we are nearly every day!
Why should people in this country illegally, be exempt?
Why shouldn't we guard our borders as closely as every other country
in the world does?
Go ARIZONA !!!

BeFair2,
You have been a member of knots for 2 hrs and 47 min as I write..
My guess is that you're not here to talk about woodworking.
I was going to post the same (post #154092, reply #2 of 7)
But I figure it was better to ignore the troll. The least he could have done is to post this in the Cafe area. Then again it was bound to happen sooner or later, thank god members in this forum are a more international community with more class.

Not Appropriate For This Site (post #154092, reply #4 of 7)
This thread should be eliminated or next thing you know we will be swamped with these political cockroaches with an agenda.
I see this as a violation to this site and an attemt to divide, when the purpose of this site is to bring people with a common intrest together to share, teach, and learn, not to be forced to take sides on a topic that has nothing to do with our common intrest.
I suggest to this "Fine" staff that this thread and any other like it be just quietly removed .
Just my opinoin.
Work on!
Be Fair, In general, here (post #154092, reply #5 of 7)
Be Fair,
In general, here in Knots, we put posts such as yours, and the threads they engender in the Woodworker's Cafe. Do you know about the Cafe? If not, I can provide info for you. It is the place for political posts, such as yours, which are out of place in a woodworking website.
Visit the Cafe. You will meet folks with interests more akin to yours. Out here in the other Folders, such as "General Discussion", we talk about woodwork.

Wonder how long he'll last at (post #154092, reply #7 of 7)
Wonder how long he'll last at Sawmill Creek? Just long enough for the electrons of his post to get electrically eviscerated and digitally delaminated, or just long enough for the bits and bytes and ASCII codes of his words to get syntactically parse shredded into white noise?
Okay, yeah, I admit it - wasting too much time on the computer...
