I am building  the asian inspiried hall table showcased on this site. Hide glue is recomended for its slow set and ease of clean up. I read about hide glue and am concerned about its reversability, especially if it is set in a room where the sun might shine on its dark surface. I was thinking of using a polyurethane from tite bond.  Can anyone give some feedback  Thanks

I don't think Poly glue is easy to work with for furniture building.  Do you have a link to the table you're considering ? - What kind of wood are you using ?

A search for "glues" on the main page came up with this overview article from 1999:

It seems to me that it is unlikely for an interior space to reach the 140° needed to re-liquify hide glue.
