Cabinet grade plywood issue (post #179174)

See attached photo's. Bought a sheet of made in USA red oak plywood, What I thought was a mark on surface turns out to be a joint in one of the plys causing a ridge. Fearful if I sand it out I may go thru veneer. Sheet was cut up by Lumber Yard on their panelsaw to fit in my vehicle. Three questions:
1. Has anyone seen this before?
2. Chances I sand it out?
3. Chances they will take it back?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I think you should try returning the wood piece to the shop.
