I am turning an antler pen. What is the best way to finish antler.

I've used antler quite a few times, turn down to size and fill any pith spots with thin CA glue and sand to 600 grit then finish sanding witn Micro Mesh thro to 12000 and buff with wax.  You need no other finish. You can get the MM at Amazon
