I must be looking in the wrong places but the only Dog House plans I've found where in a plan that you had to pay almost 70.00 to join a club. Any help would be appreciated. Would like to build one for her.

I have recently been looking for woodworking plans and found this site www.diyshedsandwoodworking.com they have links to plans that cover almost anything that you could want in woodworking with lots of how to information as well.

at the bottom there is a link to get them all for $27.

I just checked through my copy and they have 6 dog house plans.

I saw a neat design for a dog house in:

The Complete Woodworker by Bernard E. Jones

Which was published, I believe, around the turn of the 20th Century. Attached is a quick overhead drawing of the central idea - a partition INSIDE the doghouse (green line). The idea is that the dog enters by the door at the bottom right, walks around the partition and can keep itself warm more easily because the partition reduces the space warmed by the dog's body heat.
