Festool TS 55 plunge saw for less than $525 (post #169564, reply #1 of 2)
The cheapest place i've seen em is on amazon.com.
Here's a used one for $499.
Unfortunatly they're over a $1000 back here in Australia. :-(

the good and the bad (post #169564, reply #2 of 2)
If you want new, then the answer is no price is the price no matter where you get it. I'm a huge fan of festool you will love the TS55. From time to time they run specials where if you buy the saw you ge accessories at a discount or you can buy a combo unit saw+vac and get a discount, but they control price the reseller is permitted to sell at. As for used tools they go for pretty close to retail. It's one of the nice features of festool, they keep their value and the bad is like I said they control what a vendor is able to pay so price won't matter. You can do a search at www.searchtempest.com to hit all the craigslists in the imediate area but they go pretty quick.
