contractors saw parts (post #170354)
noelski1 on Fri, 07/20/2012 - 03:24
looking for parts to get an old delta model 10 contractors saw up and running.
Think the model # is 34-440. Anyway its missing both guide tubes and rip fence, one
steel extension wing, one crank wheel and star nut (?), miter gauge.
The previous owner had a unifence on it, but even most of that is gone, so cant' really use the saw
I do have the unifence itself without the guide rail or table stuff, if anybody needs that
Thing I need most is the rails and rip fence, with those special bolts to attach the rails.
Picture is not my saw, but same model
Will pay for the parts and shipping, thanks

old parts vs. new replacement (post #170354, reply #1 of 2)
If you are trying to "restore" the saw, you might try http://vintagemachinery.org/ as a resource for finding people with replacement parts.
If a new replacement fence is OK, you might consider the Delta T2 fence as an alternative. You might need to drill new bolt holes in the rails to match your saw, however.
