Last week I started a stand for a silver chest based on the side table Kevin Rodel featured in his article in FWW issue 221 Sept/Oct. Because of the shape of the chest that is going to be put on the top I had to make the grids 5X4 and 3X4 instead of 4X4 and 4X4 as he did. I'm almost done. Using cherry and African Blackwood for the feet. Always wanted to do some reverse taper legs and the wife liked this design so I went with it. This is a fun project. More when I finish it. Still have to design and build the keepers on the top that the chest sits in.
