Knock down bridge table

71Atlas's picture

 My first post.

My card table is cherry and poplar. The legs screw into the table and store in the underside with pockets for one end of the legs and the other end is captued with a split pocket held in place with magnets. A handle is attached to the underside to easly allow the table to be carried under one arm  up and down stairs.

Finally a portable table that's sturdy when set up.  I like that the black border matches the legs -

Nice job - what finish is on it -

Nice table and clever design!

Tell us about how you did the top? Veneer over substrate with solid border?

The finish is wipeon polyurethane and black paint. The surrond is solid cherry and the center of the table is 1/4" cherry plywood. The legs are threaded 8tpi to screw into the top of the table.

Neat design, clever idea about threading the legs. Kudos... :-)
