Just finished infill smoother
This is an infill smoother I recently finished. The recent storm that iced up the south and up thru the Northeast has kept me from shipping this one so I thought I would take some pics and post them. This tool has a 2" wide iron and is pitched at 50 degrees. The infill is some very very old rosewood and the inlay is gold mother of pearl. This plane has a sole length of 8.75 inches.
For additional information about the rosewood that I used for this infill visit my blog at www.breseplane.blogspot.com
Fortunately this plane will be on the way to it's new home this week,
Ron
