I am posting pictures of two different chairs i made in the G & G style. The one is a dining side chair and the other is a bar stool. I used african mahogany and the acsent pegs is from afrcan blackwood. These are my own designs. This is  khaya nyasica witch we get in South Africa

I would like some comment on these chairs

Good job. Nice work on the leg bottoms and pillowing of the pegs. Good rendition.

It's tedious but you did them well. Good job.

Thanks BB. The pegs are a lot of work ,but it makes a big differens. African blackwood is very hard to work with. It comes in at about 6 lb per b/ft.

Classes up the joint. : ) I haven't seen that treatment before that you used on the lower legs. I like that. I don't know much about Green and Green. Hey, what finish did you use? Thanks again.

Thanks Roc. The leg indntes are  greene & greene design elements. I to make a strait leg look better. The finish i used is a poly-wax finish only available in SA. We do not have a wide range to choose from. The other finish to choose from is Rusten's Danish Oil. It gives a better finish but very expensive
