My son wanted a blanket chest for his wedding. He got it.......... 5 yrs and 2 grandchildren late its 40" by 20" by 20" deep. Cherry ( of course!!) and hand cut dovetails. ( I dont think I cut enough of them!) aromatic cedar lined

That's a beautiful chest, wow, a lot of dovetails. Congrats on the grand children old timer! My first grandson is 18 months old. Happy holidays.

Thanks .....and Im not old! My son was, shall we say, an early starter! The dovetails went very smoothly. Considering I hardly ever cut them I thought it came out well....all 128 of them

18 months huh... time for you to make ( or have someone with the plans) a toddlers swing!. I made the one pictured for my girlfriends grandson. Her son tells me the baby loves it! You hang it from an interior door frame with chain and snap hooks or you can move it outside when the days arent struggling to hit 35F

my other son has a bun in the oven now and put in a request for a crib...now I have to find a plan for that project
