Re-build a plane?

I have a Stanley#129  Fore plane that needed a bit of reworking.     Rust bunnies were starting to grow inside, a PLASTIC rear tote that just had to leave the state.   Took the whole thing apart, and tossed the plastic junk away.   A friend had a tote from a #5 Stanley.     Cleaned up the metal parts in a 10 hour long bath of Simple Green, with a brass scrub brush to move the junk along.   Sanded the wood body smooth, sole was still flat.  Put the parts back together.
