I have been cutting Eastern red cedar trees. I have large logs that I want to us in a new house. I have seen logs with the bark peeled off and the logs seem to be bleached and then sealed. Has anyone worked with whole red cedar logs for indoor use? Also I am cutting small cedar trees for fence posts. I would like to keep the bark on the posts. Could I seal the bark and have it hold up? or do I need to peel them also, then seal? Thanks  James Bozman
