If you have Hornbeam or Hop Hornbeam available they will work too. Harder than nails.(almost)
Work Safe, Count to 10 when your done for the day !!

Why so picky? I would consider a wooden mallet used to beat a steel froe disposable. Use whatever hardwood you have available and you will do just fine. I have a great mallet for the same purpose made out of a Bradford pear tree limb that fell in a storm.
