What to do when your home smells like smoke?

teopapgr's picture

Can this actually remove the stink from the basement? There used to be a bunch or smokers there. Here it is: www.make.my/summitsmoker And it looks like it uses ozone, which does smell pretty good. I'm really looking into this further.

Hi. I'm so sorry to hear (post #178413, reply #1 of 4)

Hi. I'm so sorry to hear that. That's a real problem.  I heard about splashing through the corners the 5% formalin solution. Of course you can use ozone, it works better but it will cost a bit expensive.

I've got a better solution. (post #178413, reply #3 of 4)

I've got a better solution. The thing you are looking for is Nilotron Full Release Odor Neutralizer Fogger. I used them for years in fire restorations. They work like a bug bomb. You must, must, must make sure that all appliances are off when you use this as the carrier is alcohol and it pays not to start another fire in the process. Also, be ready to ventilate because while the neutralizing agent had a pleasant smell, it is incredibly strong. One can will cover about 8000 cubic feet.
