I was wonder does anybody know of any woodworking conventions or something in Chicago?

There's the Woodworking in America event sponsored by Lie-Nielsen. It's scheduled for May 1st and 2nd at J. Miller Handcrafted Furniture. You can get more information at the Lie-Nielsen website or Jeff miller's site http://www.furnituremaking.com.

Thought I would shoot you a quick note to see if you may know of anyone looking to share shop space in the wicker park/west loop area. I've got a 830 square foot space identified and I'm looking for a hobbyist who might want to split it. 1/2 of the rent (including all utilities) would be $212/month. I've got a table saw, bandsaw, jointer, planer, and sander to set up and share. If you know of anyone please have them give me a call at 616-633-6300.
