Where do I sign up?
I'm interested in the next conference. How do I sign up?
And why do they do this in Jan? This Louisiana boy doesn't like traveling north in winter.

Here is their website:

I believe it may be too early to register for the 2004 conference, but you can certainly ask them to put your name on the mailing list.

Try this link, it will take you to the conference information faster. I have thought about this conference as well, but I would have a tough time getting time off in January.

Both the listed web sites will get you to the info to sign up. They post the sign-up about September and it fills up fast.
As for January, its a slow time for Colonial Williamsburg. I believe it has a lot to do with the dates. I'm sure its easier to free up some of the cabinetmakers from the Hay shop at CW to participate and the auditorium can be used for the week without affecting other functions.
Hotel rates are very cheap at that time since it a fair weather tourist area. I stayed at a 3-Star hotel for $33 a night, usually 3 to 4 times the price. Just after I got home, I received a card in the mail for $20.03 per night per person at 4 other hotels which are good places. For that price its worth being a little cooler. The week I was there, the temperatures hit the 20s. Was it cold??....it was -15 below at home while I was there. I wasn't complaining.
Hope you can make it next year. Its a great time.
