The Artful Table Community Education class

Come to the Ornage Coast Collage (OCC) woodworking lab with your enthusiasum and a desire to create a harvest table full of heriloom treenware and trivets.  We'll be making five different items no kitchen or dinning room should be without:  salt and pepper shakers, sitring and tasitng spoons, rolling pins, spice cellars and tea caddies are some of the items we will be crafting by hand using the nicest hardwoods available anywhere.  Everything will be provided, including the wood and food-safe wood finish.  We wll start with instruction in the safe operation, two basic working power tools and non-powered hand tools!  The focus will be on learning to find the artst inside you while building a few beautiful things.  All skill levels are welcome!

Time:  6:00-8:00 pm

Fee:  $210, includes materials fee
