Boston Finewoodworkers Association is a small group right now that meets at the American Legion hall in Norton Ma. right off 495 the second wed. of every month.Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend. We are trying to grow this group so that people who live in this general area have a place to go to learn more about woodworking and share ideas.Anyone interested can contact me though this web site so that I can provide you with further imformation.

I have been working on different pieces of furniture that I brought to the finefurnishing show in Providence R.I. and am still looking for ways to show my work to the public.I am aware of all the pitfalls in woodworking. The most chalenging thing I have found is making people understand the difference between what I do and what they are buying at potterybarn or any retail store.I have made it my mission to educate the general public in what makes a quality piece of furniture starting with the joinery and the whole proccess in general.I am still advertising in custommade.com under Johnson's Woodworking

Please add me to your e-mail contact list.

I have over 20 years in and around the field and am looking to get more involved after a job change.

Thanks.

I noticed you talking about a woodworking association.  I'm in the beginning stages of getting together with a like minded group of guys in the central PA area.  Can you provide details for how your groupd is organized?

Good morning!

I see that this post is from a number of years ago and I'm wondering if this club is still active.  If so, how do I find more information?

Thank you,

Adrienne
