WGSJ Meeting Notice for June, 2008
When: June 26, 2008
Where: Unitarian Church in Cherry Hill
401 Kings Highway North
Cherry Hill, NJ 08003
Program:
An Evening with Leslie Webb, a reknown furniture maker from Philadelphia. Leslie exhibits each year at the Phila Furniture Show, in addition to many other venues, and has won awards and recognitions at a national level. It's fair to say that she defines woodworking as an artform, as you will see on her website, www.lewebb.com. We are fortunate to have her as our guest for the evening, and she will bring examples of her extraordinary work to the meeting. She is arguably one of the most gifted artisans to visit WGSJ. If you want to be inspired, don't miss this meeting!
If you'd like to meet Leslie before the meeting, join us for dinner at Ponzio's on Rt. 70 at 5:50 PM. (dutch treat)
Regards,
Mike

Check out the Central Jersey Woodworkers Association at www.cjwa.org .
We meet in Marlboro Township, NJ, on the SECOND Wednesday of each month.
But there is no meeting in July and August. The next regular meeting is in September. Check the web site later in the summer to see what the featured event will be for that and th eupcoming meetings.
Even so, if you want to check out the Club and the membership, there is a picnic scheduled for the end of July. Our normally scheduled events include The Sharpest Chisel Contest, The Thinnest Plane Shaving Contest and The Longest Plane Shaving Contest. The picnic will be in Manalapan, NJ; just about across Rt. 9 from Wegman's.
Ping me privately if you need more info.
