Inca Combo Table saw/mortiser

- BOTH MACHINES HAVE BEEN SOLD-
I have for sale a pair of Inca combination woodworking machines. If you have limited shop space but would still like precision, professional quality machines, then this Inca pair might be just what you’re looking for. Between the two machines you get the equivalent of four machines; table saw, horizontal mortising, jointer and planer.
The table saw is an Inca 259 10" tilt table saw with the horizontal mortising table. There is no converting necessary as both machines are separate but share the same stand and motor. The saw comes with an overarm guard, adjustable miter gauge, rip fence and short auxiliary fence, two throat plates, two riving knives, wobble washer, wrenches, and the original owners manual.
Attached to the table saw is the horizontal mortise attachment. The mortise attachment comes with two cam hold downs, three position stops, two stop rods, and the original manual.
The jointer/planer is the 10-1/4" model. It converts from jointer to planer or planer to jointer in about thirty seconds. The machine comes with two sets of knives, original chip shoot, knife setting gauge, and the original manual.
I have taken good care of these machines and they are in very good 100% working condition. They should provide many more years of reliable service to a new owner who is respectful of there size and doesn’t abuse them. They are well made machines capable of great precision. If you are into building small to medium furniture, instruments, or boxes in limited space this might be the ultimate set.
You are welcome to look at or even try them at my shop in Tupper Lake, NY, should you be in the area. I would prefer buyer pick-up in Tupper Lake or I am willing to deliver within a 150 mile radius of Tupper Lake. I will also pallet them for freight shipping, but you must arrange any shipping on your own (they could be picked up with a small truck with a lift gate, when on a pallet). Contact me for photos or details. Asking price is $1200 for the pair.

Hi Eef, Yes, for many years (post #147861, reply #2 of 10)
Hi Eef,
Yes, for many years I had a very small woodshop space and my projects were kept fairly small. I now have more space for the shop and would like to go slightly larger with some projects. I haven't decided if I will get another combo machine or seprates yet.
bob, friend of mine had one (post #147861, reply #4 of 10)
bob,
friend of mine had one of those belgian monster combo machines. big old thing with, i think, 5hp power behind its planer/jointer/table saw/mortiser/horizontal boring/shaper etc.
i got to use it to make a great many cope and stick doors and windows. nice machine. one thing did not get in the way nor interfere with another. good design.
hope yours sells in a heart beat.

Inca toolsare were very well (post #147861, reply #5 of 10)
Inca tools
arewere very well made. My 10 1/2 bandsaw is 25 years old and still going strong. HOWEVER, parts are no longer available. The power tool business was shut down about 12 years ago. Garret Wade may still have a few as may the former west coast distributer whose name I can't remember. My understanding is that only (post #147861, reply #6 of 10)
My understanding is that only the export of Inca machines to the U.S. and Canada was shut down, with the tools still being available in Europe.
Some parts are still available at Eagle Tools in Los Angeles.
Eagle Tools is the first (post #147861, reply #10 of 10)
Eagle Tools is the first place to look for parts in the States. Also, the Inca website in Europe says they carry spare parts for all models. No online ordering as yet - they're working on it apparently - but you can order by phone , fax or snail mail. I have heard they are very helpful but my only experience so far is with Eagle, and they are excellent.
I believe Tersa knives are still available direct from Tersa - just have to get the correct size. I don't think they are Inca specific.
The fact that you can't (post #147861, reply #7 of 10)
The fact that you can't quickly go online and order a passle of parts is irrelevant with machines as complete and immaculate as those appear to be. There is a very strong nationwide community of Inca owners in the United States, and should an odd part break, there will be another available somewhere.

I have a couple of Inca (post #147861, reply #8 of 10)
I have a couple of Inca machines and they have worked flawlessly 20 years.
The small bandsaw is small but is quiet and just sweet.
I don't know why you would need parts if they never brake?

Dear Bob, I found this very (post #147861, reply #9 of 10)
Dear Bob,
I found this very interesting. i purchased a brand new INCA combination saw table/jointer and the stand-alone band saw in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in 1970. So they are 40 years old & these machines are still used today and cut as accurately & as sweetly as the day i bought them.
Recently I managed to source some consumable spares (like band saw blades) from a place in France. if anyone is interested i can pass this information on to them.
i only wish i lived nearer to you so i could make you an offer!!! - your machines would supply me with every & all spares i might ever need - it is extremely difficult; virtually impossible to find suppliers of spares in South Africa where i now reside.
Kind regards
Frank Tennick
