Hand Plane Restoration Service

I can re-machine (precision surface grind) your metal plane; any size, any brand, any style(Block, Baily, Bedrock, Rabbet) to be DEAD FLAT on the sole. The same goes for the frog; restore face (also precision surface grind), re-machine mounting surfaces to match re-machined surfaces on plane body and restore to near new.. performance of adjustment knob, thread, and Y lever. Tighten up loose lateral adjuster. Many other options available for cosmetic issues and some options to salvage blade and chipbreaker. As of this date, I have done over three hundred planes, about a third of them being sent from their respective owner to have the work done.
