Hello, my name is Jody Compton:
I am a one man shop building custom furniture currently and am looking to add additional work. What you have mentioned is just what I build, but I am in Jackson, Mississippi. Is this to far for you to consider doing business.
I am very qualified to design and build any kind of furniture and would like to discuss your idea.

I just came across this post.I am a small 1+ man shop, I have a part time helper. I build custom pieces as well as a few lines that seem to keep selling in some of the galleries I am in. I do have a website but it is pretty basic and is to be revamped in the very near future. I also do the Fine Furnishing Shows in both Providence R.I. and Milwaukee WIS. If you are interested in seeing some of my pieces check out my site (but remember that I haven't touched it in a few years) vbwoodworks.com or contact me direct.
If you are at either Milwaukee (booth # 213) Sept. 29th & 30th or Providence (booth #331) Oct. 26th- 28th please stop by and see some of my new pieces that will be debutting at said shows. It does make a difference to run your hand across the wood and feel the finish.

I am in ma.and am producing pieces in my own shop and am looking for a place to sell my things.you can check out my work in custommade.com in ma.
I have been working on different pieces of furniture that I brought to the finefurnishing show in Providence R.I. and am still looking for ways to show my work to the public.I am aware of all the pitfalls in woodworking. The most chalenging thing I have found is making people understand the difference between what I do and what they are buying at potterybarn or any retail store.I have made it my mission to educate the general public in what makes a quality piece of furniture starting with the joinery and the whole proccess in general.I am still advertising in custommade.com under Johnson's Woodworking

Hi:
I am a small furniture shop just outside Philadelphia making solid wood furniture. I prefer the Shaker style and enjoy making windsor chairs and colonial style furniture but also make contemporary pieces. I was recently featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer on February 26, Home and Design section, for my commission work at the Betsy Ross House. Would be happy to speak with you about what you have in mind.

I would like to know more about your showroom and maybe stop by to see.
I believe I have some pieces that you could show and am interested in setting up a business to make more.
What kind of furniture are you show casing?
Thank you
